About MBR

Monarch Business Resiliency (MBR)'s roots go back to 2001, when it evolved from a group of Global Project Managers for BP Chemicals, led by John Chesser, eventual President and Principal Consultant at MBR. That one project lasted five years, spanned more than 30 countries and 43 sites. When the project ended, it made sense to harness the talent and expertise of the BP project team. This new entity, MBR, built on the success of the BP project and began sharing this success with other companies.

In 2007, industry veteran Randy Coleman's path crossed with MBR's. He and John Chesser formed a partnership and developed a plan to grow the business. Randy is now developing other projects, while MBR continues to be one of the fastest growing, most respected consulting companies in the industry. In 2008, to help manage this growth and focus on customer service, MBR brought in another industry veteran, John Grochowalski, whose 20-year career with SunGard gives him a unique grounding in business resiliency.

Even though MBR is a relatively new concern, its principals have more than 65 years combined experience between them in the DR/BCP industry.
